2003 Student Research Conference Winners
An accomplished group of students representing over ninety institution from North America and abroad presented research posters at the Sigma Xi Student Research Conference in Los Angeles, California on November 14 and 15, 2003. Students listed below were awarded prizes for their research poster presentations. The event featured workshops, lectures by leading researchers, round table discussions, judged presentations and an awards ceremony. Many of the student presenters joined Sigma Xi members at the society's annual banquet.
The conference was supported by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
Good, Excellent, and Superior poster presentations were recognized with White, Gold and Blue ribbons respectively. Blue ribbon recipients were also given a cash award. Below is a list of the Superior presentations by category.
