Vote for the People's Choice Award Winner

Student Research Showcase logoVoting is open for the Student Research Showcase People's Choice Award.

The public votes to select the winner of this award, based on the merit of a student presenter's video. Each presenter's video is intended to introduce a general audience to the research project. All of the approximately 200 presenters in the 2020 Student Research Showcase are eligible to win the award, which comes with up to $250.

How to Vote

  1. See the 2020 presentations to make your selection on the top video. Please use this criteria to make your selection:
    • The video aids the general understanding of the project.
    • It shows the presenter's enthusiasm for the project.
    • The video is of good quality.
    • A general audience without expertise in the discipline would be able to understand the research presented.
    • The significance of the project ("big picture") is clear.
  2. Vote here by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on May 31.


One vote per person, please! The People's Choice Award winner will be announced on June 1.
