RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC—Finalists for the 2018–2019 Sigma Xi chapter awards have been selected. The finalists are chosen by regional and constituency directors based on information in the chapters’ annual reports. Award winners are selected by the Committee on Qualifications and Membership and will be announced at the 120th Assembly of Delegates on November 14, 2019, in Madison, Wisconsin.

  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for their booth at the Atlanta Science Festival and their young investigators lecture series
  • Charleston for Darwin Week activities and Darwin Day activities
  • Columbia-Willamette for their visiting lecturer program and wine tasting event to support a student travel fund
  • Georgia Institute of Technology for hosting the Sigma Xi Monie A. Ferst Award Symposium in honor of 2018 recipient Carol A. Fierke
