Statement

The Committee on Nominations is responsible for shaping the future of Sigma Xi by selecting qualified nominees for the positions of President and Treasurer. It is the responsibility of each Committee member to participate in this important process, ensuring that the nominees are well qualified, represent the interdisciplinary nature of our Organization, and reflect the diversity of its membership.  In addition, as a representative from the Mid-Atlantic Region, it is important to express to the Committee any concerns or issues raised by the Regional Director.  As a scientist and research engineer with over 35 years of experience in the field of radio science and having held leadership positions in several organizations, including Associate Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region of Sigma Xi, I am confident that I can serve a productive role on the Committee on Nominations, if elected. Therefore, I respectfully ask for your vote—it would be an honor for me to serve you in this capacity.
