Statement

Throughout the long history of accomplishments of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, the organization has encouraged excellence in a broad spectrum of research efforts. The organization continues to “pay it forward” by including scientists from many different backgrounds and ethnicities. Uvetta Dozier believes in the objectives and goals of today’s Sigma Xi and has actively recruited associate and full members while actively participating at the local level. At the national level, she has served Sigma Xi in the capacity of Associate Director of the Research & Doctoral Constituency and as a member of the Committee on Nominations along with reviewing applications for membership.
