The Sigma Xi Chapter at Kennesaw State University was established February 7, 2000 (No. 829).

The goals of the chapter are to promote research and public understanding of the importance of research and science. We have typically sponsored two seminars per academic year. We recently awarded membership to a recent graduate and provided all students presenting at the Annual Student Symposium with trophies. We have also sponsored a trip to the Georgia Aquarium.
