The Cincinnati Federal Environmental Chapter of Sigma Xi welcomes you to its Home Page. This Chapter of Sigma Xi is composed of members drawn from the various federal research organizations based in the Cincinnati area. The majority of our members are now, or once have been, affiliated with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or the National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety. Both of these federal organizations have had a strong presence in the Cincinnati area for a number of years. Cincinnati is also home to our sister Sigma Xi Chapter at the University of Cincinnati.

Chapter Activities:

• Aaron Rosen Memorial Lecture A Spring lecture held annually at the EPA Andrew W. Breidenbach Research Center Auditorium. This lecture, on a variety of topics, is given by an invited guest speaker and all are welcome.

• Conrad P. Straub Memorial Lecture A Fall lecture held annually at the NIOSH Robert A. Taft Laboratories Auditorium. This lecture, on a variety of topics, is also given by an invited guest speaker and all are welcome.

• Southwestern Ohio Science Fair Judges are supplied to this regional science fair held at Miami University every March or April.

• Dinner Meetings Two social meetings each year at various locations.

• Joint Chapter Meetings Occasional joint meetings with our sister University of Cincinnati Chapter at specified sites.
