The Tenth Annual Graduate Student Presentation Competition

Award distribution to include:
- 1st place $150
- 2nd place $100
- 3rd place $50
Graduate students* wishing to compete should submit a 250 word (maximum) abstract detailing their research to Dr. Martin Kocanda (marko@niu.edu) or Dr. Veysel Demir (vdemir@niu.edu) by March 22 . Participants will be required to give a 15 minute PowerPoint™ presentation and address questions from the judges and audience. The final presentation schedule will be posted on the Sigma Xi website www.niu.edu/sigmaxi. Awards will be presented at the annual Sigma Xi banquet on April 23.
Graduate students in all scientific and engineering disciplines are encouraged to participate.
*Membership in Sigma Xi is not required.
