The History of the Lehman College Chapter

The Lehman Chapter of Sigma Xi was established on May 2nd 1975. The official plague reads as follows:

To whom it may concern be it hereby known that a Charter for the establishment of a Chapter of Sigma Xi the scientific research society of North America to be known as the Herbert H. Lehman College Chapter is hereby granted to the following persons as Charter Members and Charter Associate Members, conveying to them and to their duly elected successors all the privileges and responsibilities conferred by the Constitution of this Society.
