The DC Chapter also holds dinner lectures 3 times a year usually in October, February and May. All Sigma Xi members in the area are invited to attend via e-mail. DC Chapter members are also sent a newsletter/flier. Please e-mail DC Chapter for further information. We also hold Out of the Box events sporadically, which have been hikes, and walks to area venues with botanists, geologists, etc. giving the tours. These events are held as we can plan them and typically are only announced via e-mail.
