Each year, the Louisville Chapter of Sigma Xi selects an overall winner from the Senior Division of the Louisville and Southern Indiana Science Fairs. This honor also carries with it a certificate, a dinner invitation and a $50 cash award. Traditionally, the presentation is made at our annual banquet which this year will be held at the University Club of the University of Louisville (Belknap Campus) on Wednesday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. The students, parents and science teachers are guests of the Chapter.

This year's featured banquet speaker will be Dr. Ronald M. Atlas of the University of Louisville. The lecture, "Bioterrorism: Responding to the Threat," will begin at about 7:00 p.m.. Dr. Atlas, a distinguished Sigma Xi lecturer, will have a multimedia presentation and we are delighted that he has accepted our invitation.
