Preceding the Sigma Xi lecture on February 18, and beginning at 7 pm, students and all other attendees will have an
opportunity to explore ongoing research projects with researchers at Mayo Clinic. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss the research with the presenter. The poster displays will be on view in the lobby outside Leighton Auditorium. Please plan to come early to view and discuss these research projects.

NASA Lecture

Dr. Thomas Marshburn, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, Houston,TX, will be in Rochester on Monday, February 24. Dr. Marshburn’s presentation is “Living Off the Earth Aboard the International Space Station: An Astronaut-Physician’s Experience.” The lecture will be held at 7:30 pm, Leighton Auditorium, 2nd floor, Siebens Building. This lecture is free and open to the community. There will be an opportunity for questions following Dr. Marshburn’s presentation.
