Ethics, Responsibility and Honor in Science:
Sigma Xi's graduate student guidebook Honor in Science (pdf, 2.91 MB) is required reading in many graduate programs. A companion booklet, The Responsible Researcher: Paths and Pitfalls (pdf, 151 KB), covers issues that have arisen since Honor in Science was published and is designed for a broader audience that also includes faculty and administrators, as well as researchers and managers in industry, government, academia and non-governmental organizations.

Sigma Xi is committed to providing resources and programs that address the needs of students and student members. Conferences and Symposia: Recent conference topics have explored topics such as Education Reform, Ethics, Science and the Arts, and Science in Developing Countries. A growing national undergraduate research symposium takes place concurrently with Sigma Xi annual conferences.
