Dr. Kimberly Gray is a Professor in the Department of
Civil and Environmental Engineering, and is the Director of the Environmental
Science, Engineering and Policy Program. Her research focuses on the
development of photoactive materials for energy and environmental applications,
and on the study of chemical fate in environmental systems. She works closely
with the Chicago Legal Clinic to provide technical expertise to solve
environmental problems for low-income urban communities. Both her teaching and
research are tightly interwoven with the many issues that underpin the drive
toward sustainability. She is the author of over 60 scientific papers and
lectures widely on energy and environmental issues.
