The Diversity Program Award applications will be reviewed by the Diversity Committee. The application deadline is July 31 and the criteria for the Diversity Award will be:

1. the impact of a specific chapter program on the community (i.e., the size and diversity of the audience, outreach and exposure),
2. the level of innovation or initiative in designing the individual program (uniqueness, creative use of resources) and
3. supports the Diversity Committee mission statement particularly in educating and reinforcing diversity within Sigma Xi and in increasing participation of underrepresented groups in science and engineering.
