Welcome to registration for the Sigma Xi Annual Meeting & International Research Conference. Registration descriptions, registration rates, social events and policies are provided for your reference. All fees are listed in US dollars.

Registration is now closed. Registration for General Participants and Saturday Only attendees will be accepted on-site in Texas. Delegates and Presenting Students require a preapproval process and can not register on-site.

Sigma Xi Annual Meeting & International Research Conference

Sigma Xi Member (non-student)	$175	Active (dues paid) members. Includes the Friday Chubb Award luncheon and lecture, the Friday evening Sigma Xi Café with film viewing and the Saturday Young Investigator Award luncheon and lecture.
Sigma Xi Member (student)	$95	Presenting and non-presenting students who are active (dues paid) members of Sigma Xi. Includes the Friday evening Sigma Xi Café with film viewing, the Saturday Power-up Breakfast and Saturday Young Investigator Award luncheon and lecture.
Non-Member or Inactive Member (non-student)	$200	Non-members of Sigma Xi or members who have not paid their current year’s dues. Includes the Friday Chubb Award luncheon and lecture, Friday evening Sigma Xi Café with film viewing and the Saturday Young Investigator Award luncheon and lecture.
Non-Member or Inactive Member (student)	$125	Presenting and non-presenting students who are not Sigma Xi members or student members who have not paid their current year’s dues. Includes the Friday evening Sigma Xi Café with film viewing, the Saturday Power-up Breakfast and Saturday Young Investigator Award luncheon and lecture.
Guest of Active Sigma Xi Member	$175	Anyone (18+ yrs) attending as the guest of an active (dues paid) Sigma Xi member who is registering to attend the FULL meeting. Includes the Friday Chubb Award luncheon and lecture, the Friday evening Sigma Xi Café with film viewing and the Saturday Young Investigator Award luncheon and lecture. See Guest Policy.
Energy Conference & Student Research Poster Session One-Day Saturday Only Registration	$65	Available for members or non-members to attend Saturday events from 9:30am-6:00pm. Includes the Saturday Young Investigator Award luncheon and lecture. An optional ticket to the evening Banquet may be purchased separately. Not available for delegates, guests or student presenters.

Social Event	Description
Walston Chubb Award for Innovation Lecture and Luncheon Friday, November 13	The award presentation and lecture will follow the luncheon. Included with delegate registration. Students may purchase a ticket for US$35.
Sigma Xi Café Friday, November 13	After dinner, join other attendees for relaxing conversation, music, light desserts and a cash bar. The Exhibit Hall will be open for viewing. Included with registration.
Power-up Breakfast Saturday, November 14	Students, Exhibitors and Judges prepare for the student poster competition by powering up with a light continental breakfast in the Exhibit Hall. Students and Judges enjoy breakfast while browsing student and professional research posters and exhibit booths. The Judge orientation will also be conducted. Included with student, exhibitor and judge registration.
Young Investigator Award Lecture and Lunch Saturday, November 14	The award presentation and lecture will follow the luncheon. Included with registration. Tickets will be provided only to those who select the option to attend the event on their registration form.
Sigma Xi Banquet Saturday, November 14	The Saturday evening banquet is the capstone of an exciting conference featuring the induction of the 2009 Honorary Members. Enjoy an evening of fine dining, conversation, music, dancing, and a cash bar. Ticket required for all attendees. Additional US$75 fee for ALL participants. Bus Transportation on Sunday	Description
Bus Transportation on Sunday Sunday, November 15	Sigma Xi will arrange for buses to take attendees from the hotel to the George Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport (IAH) immediately following the conclusion of the final Assembly of Delegates on Sunday morning. A ticket will be required to board the bus. The cost of the ticket is $15 and you must purchase a ticket during online registration for the meeting to be guaranteed a seat on the bus. This price is an inexpensive option compared to the price for the Super Shuttle ($23+tip) or a taxi ($60+tip)to the airport. We will NOT be arranging buses to Houston Hobby (HOU) airport.

Guest of Sigma Xi Member Policy
Anyone (18+ yrs) attending as the guest of an active Sigma Xi member who is registering to attend the full meeting. All guests must register in order to attend any part of the Annual Meeting & International Research Conference. Guest tickets to the banquet are available at the advertised rate.

Registration Payments & Receipts
Payments may be made by business or personal check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit card. Chapter Designated Delegates may use Chapter EFT. Receipts will be included in each registrant's packet on-site at the meeting.
