Welcome to registration for the Sigma Xi Annual Meeting & International Research Conference.
Registration descriptions, registration rates, social events and policies are provided for your reference. All fees are listed in US dollars. The meeting is open to members and non-members.
Online Registration is now CLOSED. Registration for General Participants and Non-Presenting Students will be accepted on-site in Raleigh. Designated (Voting) Chapter Delegates and Presenting Students require a pre-approval process and may not register on-site.

Sigma Xi Banquet Saturday, November 12

|
The Saturday evening banquet is the capstone of an exciting conference featuring the induction of the 2011 Honorary Member and recognition of Bugliarello Prize recipient. Enjoy an evening of fine dining, conversation, music, dancing, and a cash bar. Ticket required for all attendees. Additional US$65 fee for ALL participants. Call or e-mail for additional ticket options.

Bus Transportation to RDU Airport Sunday, November 13
|
$15
|
Sigma Xi will arrange for buses to take attendees from the hotel to the RDU Airport immediately following the conclusion of the final Assembly of Delegates on Sunday morning. A ticket will be required to board the bus and may be purchased during online registration. Tickets are US$15 each.

Walston Chubb Award for Innovation Lecture and Luncheon Friday, November 11
|
The award presentation and lecture will follow the luncheon. Included with registration. Tickets will be provided only to those who select the option to attend the event during online registration.

Student & Exhibitor Networking Luncheon Friday, November 11
|
Welcome event for students and exhibitors. Students mingle and network with exhibitors throughout the luncheon. Included with Student & Exhibitor registration. Tickets will be provided only to students who select the option to attend the event during online registration.

Sigma Xi Night Cap Friday, November 11
|
After dinner, join other attendees for relaxing conversation, music, light desserts and a cash bar. The Poster & Exhibit Hall will be open for viewing. Included with registration.

Orientation & Power-up Breakfast Saturday, November 12
|
Students, Exhibitors and Judges prepare for the student poster competition by powering up with a light continental breakfast in the Exhibit Hall. Students and Judges enjoy breakfast while browsing student and professional research posters and exhibit booths. The Judge orientation will also be conducted. Included with student, exhibitor and judge registration.

Young Investigator Award Lecture and Lunch Saturday, November 12
|
The award presentation and lecture will follow the luncheon. Included with registration. Tickets will be provided only to those who select the option to attend the event during online registration.

Registration Payments & Receipts
Payment is due by October 26. Payments may be made by business or personal check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit card. Chapter Designated Delegates may use Chapter EFT if authorized by a current chapter officer. Receipts will be provided on-site at the meeting and included in each attendee's registration packet.
Policies, Cancellations and Refunds
All fees are listed in US dollars.
Presenting Students and Designated (Voting) Delegate registrations can NOT register on-site due to the pre-approval process.
To receive a full refund of registration fees, written notification of the cancellation must be sent to meeting@sigmaxi.org by Monday, November 7, 2011.
Effective Tuesday, November 8, 2011, a $25 processing fee will be deducted from all approved cancellation refunds.
Requests for refunds of social event ticket purchases will be accepted through Monday, November 7, 2011.
Refund requests for registration fees only will be accepted through December 15, 2011.
Sigma Xi reserves the right to refuse refund requests.
Pro-rating of fees based on the proportion of the meeting attended cannot be authorized.
For ticketed events, tickets will be provided only to those who select the option to attend the event during online registration.

The Sigma Xi Annual Meeting & International Research Conference should be a positive experience for all. Sigma Xi's Policy on Respect hopes to ensure this goal.
Photography Notice
Photographs may be taken during the meeting. These photographs will be the property of Sigma Xi and may be placed on our Web site or in promotional collateral.
On-site Registrations
Presenting Students and Designated (Voting) Delegates are unable to register on-site due to the pre-approval process.
