Candidate's Statement: Over the past 17 years I have been very active in Sigma Xi at the local and national level. I was the founding president of my local chapter that continues to be active today. I have also been active in the Northwest region having served as its representative to the national nominations committee. Most recently, I have served as chair of the nominating committee for the Comprehensive Colleges and Universities Constituency Group (CCUCG). The CCUCG presents new challenges for Sigma Xi. As a fairly new group, we still need to develop some organizational structure. If elected Associate Director, I would pledge to work closely with the current director in helping to build that structure in order to serve needs of the comprehensive colleges and universities and give them a stronger voice in Sigma Xi.

Candidate's Statement: Having been active in Sigma Xi for the past 8 years as a local chapter president, delegate, speaker, and presenter and recognized by the NW Region as a nominee for the Young Investigator Award, I have learned what Sigma Xi represents and can do for all constituents.
