Candidate's Statement: As a Chapter based Society it has superb politically free intellegent research knowledge to share with researchers world wide: its members enshrine the classical idea of companions in zealous research as a code to live by and not merely acknowledge. All Research and Science is fun, thrilling and soul liberating and expanding; all our members form an unique community of Scholars and hold the future of the Earth, the People and the Human Spirit in their collective. I hope to spread the ideals and ideas of our Society world wide.

Biographical Information: I have spent all my Career as a Professor of Chemistry; Over 267 papers , several book chapters, numerous Invited Talks etc etc. I founded the Gilbert and Sullivan opera group,at McGill, The Savoy Society, now approaching its 43rd performance, I paint oils and other media for fun. I enjoy hosting Akvavit and Beer Open Faced Sandwich Parties for my Research Team and Friends. I was a Gentleman Farmer for over 12 years, growing my own Herbs sand making Herbal essences; i bread guinea fowl, ducks,geese,turkeys,chickens,pigs, rabbits, and the occasional calf, while growing all our vegetables to eat and 100 acres of trees and hay. I was member of the Railway Historical Association where we laid Railway Lines and pushed Museum Engines and Rolling Stock around. I have been Visiting Professor at Oxford, Cambridge, Geneva, Aberystwyth (Wales),and Canterbury (New Zealand). I have been involved in Science and Religion course and meetings for 30 years, noe Chair the Montreal School of Theology, the Oldest Ecumenical Theology School in Canada, 1921, I am on the Planned Giving Committee of the Anglican Diocese of Montreal. I enjoy Opera, Concerts and Ballet, long walks, good single malt whiskeys and exuberant conversations; arguing is the spice of life.
