Candidate's Statement: I have been a member of Sigma Xi for 15years. For the last three years I have had the honor of being the associate director of the largest section of Sigma Xi. It has been both a rewarding and beneficial experience. We have a great section that can be even better. I think we should continue to endorse the chapters of our region in all their endeavors. The position of associate director is to support and help the director. This year I attended the board of directors meeting at Research Triangle in place of our director, it was a very rewarding experience. I would like very much to continue in this role for another 3 years.
