The Future is Now
As a follow up to last year's celebration of the 125th Anniversary of Sigma Xi, the 2012 Annual Meeting focused on the future of science and the Society.

Assembly of Delegates:  The Future of Sigma Xi
In order to make the Annual Meeting more accessible and cost-effective, we held the meeting virtually.  Members may join chapter delegates and attend the 2013 Meeting online. 

Featured Speakers:  The Future of Science
In addition to the governance, the 2012 Annual Meeting featured three invited speakers:

• Dr. Glenn Schweitzer provided a presentation with the title “Bilateral Science Diplomacy: Then and Now.”
• Susan B. Butts provided a presentation with the title "Reflections On A Career In Industry."
• E. William Colglazier provided a presentation with the title "Science and Diplomacy."

Society Governance

General Assemblies involve all delegates in discussions and conduct voting on matters of Society business.

Society Elections

Regional and Constituency Caucuses provide essential time for chapter delegates to discuss issues impacting the research enterprise.
