Sigma Xi is hosting a Science Across Borders meeting that will bring together interested students, professional scientists, Sigma Xi members and the public.

There will be evening events that take advantage of the beautiful surroundings of EPFL and Lausanne, Switzerland.
Getting to Lausanne: No visa is required for citizens from the United States to travel to Switzerland. However, citizens from other countries should check their countries' visa requirements.

Hotel accommodations
Several hotels in the Lausanne area have been blocked for our participants. To register at the Fassbind Hotel, please use your credit card and visit their web portal. A limited number of rooms at the Ibis Hotel in central Lausanne are available at the rate of 176.5 CHF (including breakfast). To book this preferred rate, please contact Ben Mansour Samira by e-mail with your definitive dates of travel. These rooms are first come, first served and will not last long.

Closing Dinner:
Join us for an evening to remember. We will travel by boat across Lake Leman and enjoy a cocktail before dinner. Dinner will be served in the beautiful surroundings at Chillon Castle, with music provided by Peter Messerli on the traditional alphorn. Bus transportation is provided back to EPFL.
