Intel International Science and Engineering Fair

The Intel® International Science and Engineering Fair® (Intel ISEF), the world's largest international pre-college science competition, provides an annual forum for more than 1,500 high school students from 65 countries, regions, and territories to showcase their independent research as they compete for over $4 million annually. The Intel ISEF is the premier global science competition for students in grades 9–12.

Sigma Xi serves as a Special Award Sponsor with first, second and third place awards for the “best demonstration of interdisciplinary research.” Along with the Executive Director, Society members volunteered to be judges for the Sigma Xi Special Awards. Winners receive a cash prize, commemorative certificate and one year of Affiliate Circle Membership.
