Using Computational Science In Your Classroom:
Helping Students to "See" the Invisible

Computational science workshops are to encourage the use of computational tools in undergraduate science and engineering education and to develop an active and supportive community of faculty using and sharing computational tools in the classroom and laboratory.

Sigma Xi members have two opportunities to participate in computational science workshops:

• Sigma Xi chapter-based workshops or
• Workshops scheduled at various locations around the country.

All workshops are designed and run by the Shodor Education Foundation through a grant from the National Science Foundation.
