International Chapters
Sigma Xi chapters outside of North America reflect the interests and concerns of their own regions. Chapter activities include field trips to various research facilities, lectures, conferences on the future of research and research awards. One goal all the international chapters share is the encouragement of young researchers through election into Sigma Xi as well as opportunities for those researchers to share their work.
International Partners
The establishment of a Sigma Xi International Partner enables a group to set and collect their own annual dues in their local currency, which is intended to assist groups where the cost of regular annual dues prohibits the formation of a local Sigma Xi group. This program applies only to developing countries as defined by the World Bank, including what are categorized as low-income,
lower-middle income and
upper-middle income economies.
