Dr. Kerrigan has been an Associate Professor at College of Mount Saint Vincent, Division of Natural Sciences, since 1994. 

She has also served as  Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin.-La Crosse and Senior Lecturer at Mary Washington University, Fredericksburg, VA,

Dr. Kerrigan received her B.A. in Chemistry/Biology at Lakeland College, her M.S. in Bioinorganic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her  Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry at  Arizona State University
