Statement
I am Wu Zhengzhi, M.D.& Ph.D, Professor, UCLA postdoctoral fellow and UCSD senior visiting scholar in the United States, foreign academician of Ukrainian National Academy of Engineering Sciences (Academician workstation located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province), doctoral and postdoctoral tutor of the famous five universities including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University and Jinan University, and the director and discipline leader of Class III laboratory and key research laboratory of proteomics of National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have successively served as the director of Shenzhen Institute of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Vice president of Shenzhen Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital and director of Shenzhen Institute of Geriatrics.
I have mainly engaged in the research of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine gerontology and Precision medicine, and has presided over and mainly participated in the research of more than 50 scientific research projects such as the National 973, 863, National Science and Technology Research, National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc; Received 27 scientific and technological achievements awards, including the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress (Natural Science) from the National Education Commission, the First Prize for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Science and Technology in China, and the Second Prize for Science and Technology in Guangdong Province; Published 46 professional works and 343 academic papers, including 38 papers from SCI JCR TOP Q1 top journals, with a total impact factor of 736.39 points and an H- IF score of 21.566 points. The paper has been positively cited 6044 times both domestically and internationally; Apply for/obtain 339 domestic and foreign technology patents; and independently cultivate 62 high-level professional and technical talents such as postdoctoral, doctoral, and master's degrees as well.
I have won more than 10 professional and academic honors: the National outstanding contribution expert, the Top Ten Science and Technology Experts of Guangdong Province, the excellent expert of Guangdong Province Government, and the high-level science and technology leading talent of Shenzhen. In 1998, I was elected as the expert with special allowance for outstanding contributions to natural science of the State Council, and in 2016, I was elected as Scientific Chinese Person of the Year (There are only 2 persons in the field of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in China).
