Networking and Social Events

exhibit5Sigma Xi, an international community of distinguished scientists and engineers in more than 100 countries, features an annual conference rich with opportunities for networking with colleagues, students, and professionals. Informal conversations are augmented by a number of events designed to enhance these important interactions. Connect with the community of researchers by attending these events at the 2014 conference held at the Renaissance Hotel & Spa in Glendale, Arizona.

Chapter Poster Presentations - Throughout the Meeting

Chapter representatives share information about their local activities in this ongoing poster session. For Chapter Delegates, this is a terrific way to share information about outstanding chapter programs, and for students, it's a great way to learn about the local Sigma Xi chapters. More information is available online.

Exhibitor Booths - Throughout the Meeting

Sigma Xi partners and supporters are represented during the conference at exhibit booths located in the exhibit hall. Exhibits offer delegates and students the opportunity to interact with representatives from academia, industry, government and other research-based organizations. More information is available online.

Professional Research Poster Presentations - Throughout the Meeting

In addition to the Student Research presentations, scientific posters by attendees will be on display throughout the meeting. Presenters may attend their posters at any time during the conference. The professional poster presentations offer excellent opportunities for discourse and networking among students and senior researchers. More information is available online.chapposter1
