The Student Research Conference is an opportunity for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students to meet and network with professional scientists and engineers. Students are invited to present a research poster relating to science or engineering that will be judged by professional researchers. All participants earn nominations to join Sigma Xi, the world's largest research honor society. The top-ranked presenters in each research discipline earn a monetary award and a year of free membership in the Society.

Students can also attend career preparatory workshops and a networking event.
