What: Join a live Zoom meeting to get tips from Janelle Simmons, Sigma Xi Manager of Programs, about how to prepare for the Sigma Xi Student Research Showcase. Dr. Simmons will particularly focus on the video and discussion widget portion of presentation websites, and will share advice from judge Amrita Dosanjh and past presenters.

Background Information: The Sigma Xi Student Research Showcase is an online science communication competition for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. The competition challenges students to create a website with an abstract, video, and slideshow about their research. Students may submit abstracts by March 6, 2020, to participate. 

Who Should Attend: All students who have submitted abstracts or are considering a submission for the Student Research Showcase.
