From May 10–16, 2025, thousands of high school STEM students gathered in Columbus, Ohio, for the 75th Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). The students were top winners at local, regional, state, or national science fairs affiliated with Society for Science. The 2025 event featured nearly 1,700 young scientists representing 48 states and 60 countries. More than $9 million was awarded in the form of cash awards and scholarships.

Sigma Xi continued its support for these students as a Special Awards Organization during the 2025 event, by judging team projects in life sciences and physical sciences. The judges evaluated hundreds of team projects, awarding the best demonstrations of team science, reflecting Sigma Xi's culture of fostering collaboration among researchers from multiple disciplines.
