More than 20 Sigma Xi members volunteered to review 286 team projects May 12-13 to find the best demonstrations of interdisciplinary research and team science at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.

Sigma Xi’s 2015 national Young Investigator Award will be given to Dr. Melissa A. Kenney of the University of Maryland. Dr. Kenney's research broadly addresses how to integrate both uncertain scientific knowledge and societal values into decision-making.
